Cockpit tube and a seat. Nothing too fancy, just kit's decals, some seatbelts and a catapult loop on the seat. Not that they're too visible now...

After a little research, The Internet said: the closest color to reality is Tamiya X-34. Maybe a little too metallic, but I didn't know how the painting would go, so I wanted a consistent color that I can respray or correct without worrying.

Some decals placed and some not. Sheet consisted of over 100 of them and none was lost in the process!

It surely is a nice little kit to put together. Nothing too difficult and not much work to get it done.

The decals however... Not for the faint of heart, but they fit and get together brilliantly! Max score for Syhart for them!

The kit is simple, but to get the decals done proper, you need some good skills at placing them. definitely not a child's play.

The base is a modular figure base from Trumpeter, resprayed in black. When other 1/144 will pop up they'll have similar bases.

Only artistic license was adding the IRIS-T rocket, so the pylons are not hauntingly empty.

What a little beauty! Excellent job & details in 1:144 - admirable 👍 The finish & photos are also great - I think your color is really close to the original & the final trimming can be done with light & camera, as a few of your pictures show. Great job.

Thanks a lot! I used Tamiya X-34 Metallic brown on a white primer. I remember I saw that model made somewhere over the Net and the author wrote that he used this exact colour and it's more or less spot-on 🙂 I only might have thinned it a little more (and used retarder) to make sure the finish would be smooth.

So even the big boys use Tamiya paints on their airplanes then? 😉
