Thanks guys. This will take some time, as holidays are fast approaching and I'm doing a double build with another Mig-15 from this box (separate project).

Moved forward with the chiping + salt: the result is not entirely convincing for me... I'll wait a couple of days to see if I like it

Did you use the same color to tone down the base color after applying the salt or a lighter/darker one?
