Really great work Didier!
How did you like the kit? Any spots to watch out for?

Hi Soeren. As i'said in my comments, the kit is well detailed and the engraving very nice. However, there is a few fitting issues : the rear engine cowls doesnt fit at all with the rest of the fuselage and the nose (radar cowling) doesn fit with the fuselage counterpart section (you'd better fix it and trim it, before doing the painting). I'also found difficult to put the landing gear struts in their location (nothing terrible, but just tricky). Conclusion, i'was expecting better fittings from a GWH kit. That's about all. Thanks for looking.

Great job, a really nice looking MiG 👍 Camo & exterior details came out beautifully - maybe you could drop in a shot or two on the cockpit, it really seems to feature a lot of details, the mirrors & HUD seem to put up a promise for more 🙂

Hi Slavo.
I've tried to take some close-up pictures of the cockpit, but it's too late with the canopy "half open". It's almost impossible to take a decent picture of the details. Next time i' will have to take these pictures before i' put the canopy. Thanks for your comments anyway. Bye

That's a lovely Fulcrum Didier! I agree with the comments above & that camo came out great.

Album info
Hi guys !
This is my last built : Mig29, 1/48th, from Great Wall Hobby.
This kit is very well detailed, with photo-etch, and very fine engraving. However, some fittings are let's says "perfectible". I' was a bit disappointed by the fitting quality. Since I'had a pretty good experience with their Fw189 kit, I'was expecting something of better quality.
The missiles are very accurately reproduced (in one part !) and the cockpit very nice (making the Eduard add-on almost useless). Their is a huge amount of stencils (nearly 5H to put them all) and a few mistakes in the references
All in all, it's still a good kit, and probably the best Mig29 for this scale.
Hope you like it.
Bye
Didier
