Bandai 1:144 Y-Wing

As I don't have an airbrush I've started with a 'pre-wash' on the body and nacelles. The cockpit section has a brushed sort of version of pre-shading. 

Initial top coat of Tamiya and Revell acrylic mix, heavily thinned so that the black underneath shows through 

A few different shades of top coat added, all heavily thinned so that the black undercoat comes through. Piping picked out in Tamiya Rust with a cocktail stick
