Calling my nichimo 1/48 ki-43– hayabusa ( Japanese for peregrine falcon) done!!! Allied code name of Oscar. Canopie is not one of my best . Kinda struggled with the decals placement so I just copied what others had done. IJA khaki paint is Vallejo. Pretty much all the other colors are tamiya acrylics with the exception of the aotakie mixture which, was model master acrylic clear blue and green mixed together. I than painted that mixture over model master silver enamel. Everything is out of the box including the 40 year old decals with the exception of the wheels. The wheels are true detail resin that I picked up for a song when I bought the model. I would for sure buy another one of these kits went together very well and the detail is out of this world.
With this done I think I am taking a short hiatus from building to get ready for fishing in the spring
