Thanks Kaspar. I tend to do google searches on whichever unit the tank belongs to photo reference and possibly any unit history type stuff. I have the Concord and Squadron books on armor in Korea, as well as the Osprey T-34 vs M26 Pershing from their dual series. There is a blog that I have bookmarked where the guy has done some good stuff on Korean War armor as well. I'll post the link to that blog for you.

I'm gonna keep it around the running gear Thomas. Not too much, but not too little

@ Neuling. I need to make up a base for this build, but no diorama.
@ Joshua, thank you. The claws, eyes, and mouth are decals, but I had to do touch up work with paint on them due to the decals not conforming properly to all of the protrusions in those areas. The yellow base and stripes are all painted.

@ Neuling - those resin figures cost too much to leave out. He will be added once he is completed. Tank first!😉
@Joshua - I want to do some sort of rice paddy mud road or late winter thaw like most of the films and photos show these tanks to be in for my base. The antennas are steel music wire I purchase at a local RC hobby shop by my last home. I cut them to a scale 3 meter length.

A good paint job!
Like the style of these monsters!
I've been planning such a painting for a 1:72 korea war m4 for a long time, unfortunately I haven't had the time yet.
Hope to compete with yours soon😁
