Soviet T26 light tank in Chinese service. Some 80 of these light tanks were purchased by Nationalist China from the USSR in 1939 to fight the Japanese invaders. The T26 was the Soviet produced light tank based on the Vickers 6-ton tank. Soviet modifications included, most notably, a larger turret and a 45mm AT gun. At least one vehicle survived WWII to fight the Communist Army in 1947.

Type 89B Medium tank, Luzon, Philippine Islands, Dec 1941. The Type 89 was the first Japanese medium tank design/development in 1929 and was in service by 1932. The 89B model came into service in 1936 and was the Worlds first Diesel powered tank. By 1930 standards, the Type 89 was a rather impressive medium tank, but by the late 1930's it was to be replaced by the Tpye 97 Chi Ha. Japanese tank production, however, never delivered sufficient numbers of tanks for various reasons (raw materials shortages, low priority over other weapons, etc) and the Type 89 could be found in service throughout WWII. USMC LVT-2 AMTRACK (amphibious tractor), Tarawa, November 1943. The LVT was an essential development in WWII and was key to getting infantry, weapons, and supplies ashore.

British M3 Lee (late production), Burma 1945. British, ANZAC, and other Allied forces were mostly devoid of armor in the opening stages of the Pacific/ India/ Burma theaters of WWII against the Japanese. Gradually, tank supplies trickled in. 1942 saw mostly US M3 light tanks supplied, but by in 1943 many tank types which were classified as nonstandard obsolete in the ETO were sent to fight the Japanese. These included Matilda and Valentine infantry tanks and M3 Lee/Grant medium tanks.

M4A3 76mm HVSS, Korea 1951. Dragon Kit. I started this kit prior to 2000 then boxed it up, stored it away, went through divorce and multiple moves before settling down and returning to the hobby in 2017. It was about 90% complete and simply needed the tracks and weathering.
