Did you use that awful shower curtain material that Hasgawa includes with the kit for the harnesses? I could never get that crap to cut in a straight line. Yours came out quite well.

Hello, yes I used their shower curtain (I like this wording) but what I did was to stick it to a tape so that it was not moving when cutting it. The first try without it was a nightmare.

That is a good idea, I may have to try that. But then there is the problem of the curtain being folded and not being able to flatten it out. Did you overcome that as well?

You can also use tamiya-tape (or any other masking tape you prefer) or band aid or this foil-seal-stuff from wine bottles (dont know the word for that) to make seatbelts. You just have to paint it in the color you want...

Will you paint the blue or attempt the decals on the butt end?
I actually have some nice gift wrapping ribbon that is the width of the harnesses. Still hate weaving it through the hardware though. That's usually where my rally cars stall out is me hating doing harnesses.

Try some harness for Aircraft in 1/72 scale. This stuff gives you the creeps😉
By using mr. Mark Setter and mr. Mark Softer i am getting good results with the harnessdecals even on fabric surfaces.

Ah, the butt end isn't blue at all. I think you may have the cow catcher on the front put on backwards. Try flipping it over.

In fact, I didn't take picture of the car with the Telefonica blue as the decals were too bad. I tried then to remove the blue part of the decals, and then paint but was not able to have appropriate masking. I gave up and remove al' the paints and changed to this marking with the ora'ge directly painted instead of using the decals.
