The Quinta decals are very easy to work with, much better than their 1:72 offerings I think!

I'm in.
These 3D decals seem to be something else entirely than PE upgrades for example.

Better check in here quickly!
Another great looking project in the pipeline, happy to see a dedicated 48-scale jet-fighter modeler in the lot! 👍
Quintas look pretty cool in that pit - will have to try them on a suitable model at some time. Looking forward to things happening here, expect the Tomcat community to check in soon! 😄

So I better check in as well before the tomcat geeks arrive! (Hey slavo, still hope you build one too one day?)
The Quinta stuff is just impressive?? need to get some of that as well on a suitable project...

Re. photo 35. I am using Vallejo acrylic primers and I find it easy to get a nice smooth (fairly smooth) surface, by airbrushing it dry on, avoiding airbrushing on too much paint at the same time. Having said that, it does help going over with fine sand paper to make the surface more smooth. I think airbrushing with plain Vallejo color (not primer paint) is really smooth. A trick to airbrush on super smooth metallic paint, is to thin out the metal paint to the extreme and airbrush on very dry, very thin in layers so to speak, but on top of a glossy black surface.

What a cool color scheme for that cat! Very well done. I am just in awe of the detail you added.
