Vehicle designed in the mid-1930s at the Krauss-Maffei plant as an artillery tractor. It is best known as a vehicle towing the famous 88mm FlaK guns. It reached the peak of its development in mid-1939, when just the KM 11m version was put into production. By 1944, nearly 12,000 of these machines had been produced.
