Thank you all, it was a cumbersome build - big but with lots of fragile pieces. It almost fell off the stool during photography - seems the wheels actually roll lol.
Thank you Rui - it's a strange kit that has a lot of parts reminding me of an ICM kit of the T35 I built.

The Soviet MBV-2 had a diesel power plant and was fitted with 3 t-28 style turrets, these fitted with the L11 gun from later in the war. the model is 22" long, 6" high and 3.5" wide
I used the ties and rail from the kit but not the ballasted base, using instead Woodland Scenics brown medium ballast, fixed in place with Modge Podge matte medium. In retrospect the ties could have used a lot more work although the rail, fish plates and rail joiners were quite good.
Used the very excellent and not too overly complicated Soviet Railway Flatbed 16,5-18t
