Nice!!! That's a fitting project to both celebrate the quality of the Zvezda kit and have a remembrance for the years the BAF operated the C-130.

Two questions please...
Why does Belgian AF have an indian on their tail?
Are you planning to remotely control the commands?

In 1948 the squadrons (20, 21, 40) of the 15 Transport Wing of the BAF took over the Sioux emblem which was used since 1935 by the Renard R-31 squadrons before the WW2.
see : Renard R-31 (Azur-FRROM FR0039, 1:72)
The emblem is used on (almost) all transport planes of the BAF.
No remote control, but a small program in the Arduino with a 3 minute sequence from start to stop ( lights and engines)

Some progress, the Zvezda kit is really nice to build, and my 3d printed sponson fits with a little bit of putty

Oh, sign me up for this one! I've got the Italeri (via Academy) kit, but I was drooling over the Zvezda one.
I'm curious why you have the power in (micro USB?) inside the fuselage. Where are you running the power from?

Greg, there is space enough inside the fuselage above the print for a 2200 mAh powerbank to feed engines and arduino (see pic 14)

Are you going to be able to open up the cargo doors to bring it out to recharge it as necessary?

The model is practically finished except for some details, and the programmed sequence worked perfect .

I am very pleased that the grown-ups liked my model as much as the kids that came to the P&S 2022 show.
