Scott SNice to see one of these kits built. Thanks for adding captions on some of the problem areas, it helps people know what to look out for. Nice customization. Too bad about the tail light, maybe you could get a spare part from Fujimi and somehow insert it from the outside into place.

Tom ...Another excellent build. Very impressed with the carbon fiber technique. I imagine it is very hard to get it to look right...

Michael Kohltalking about carbon fiber technique. Can you elaborate a bit more, as I have no idea of how you actually did it. Particularly interesting have been for me your problems and how you solved them.

It is classical technic.
1. The surface should be moderately smooth.
2. Paint it black(not 'Matt') and dry. If you want 'Kevlar', than use another color (like 'Lignt Brown')
3. On top of that, place stockings on it and make it adhere to the curved surface. (attention should also be paid to the direction of the pattern)
4. Now lightly airbrushing 'GunMetal or Light GunMetal' over it.
You will probably need some practice. 😉
