Starting to build the base, using an "off the shelf" picture frame, using kitchen aluminum foil to simulate water.

After airbrushing with grey, blue, using some PVA glue to seal it, then applied dry brush whit acrylic white for the sea foam. It will be completed later on with cotton and PVA glue, when the model is completed.

Depiction of USS Hornet CV-8, with Doolitle Raiders taking off from its deck in December 17th 1942 to attack Japan in retaliation to Pearl Harbor attack.
