Nice duck👍
Like the weathering- a good balance.
A small and simple base, but fits well too!

Very well done and weathered 👍
They used to drive tourists around the city & harbour in Dublin too.

Thank you everyone! They used to drive them here in Seattle too but then one of them had its front axle fall off, it swerved into a passage bus with tragic consequences. It was a fun build, will get more Italeri 1/72 kits in the future.

Album info
DUKW (In Seattle also known as the Duck boat that tourists use to see the city on land and water) by Italeri in 1/72 scale. This model was very straightforward, the only additions were scratch built steering wheel as I threw away the sprue with the kit one (facepalm!) and Mike Grant brand instrument decals. Painted with Vallejo acrylics and post shaded thereafter, AK washes, pigments and pencils for chipping. Made a small base to go along with it. Model 23 for 2022.
