Maquis in action, 1944

Well, the diorama got silver medal on Modelismo O'Higgins tournament, that was unexpected  

Finished diorama, at least until I have another idea to add. 

Put the map on the hands of the soldier was more complicated than expected, I should have some dry fitting. 

Weathering applied in the advertisement.  

I finally decide to paint some advertising. I know it has become a modelling cliche, but who knows when I'll do another french ww2 diorama

A lot of stencilling here. Maybe I'll find a professional cutter machine next time.

This project will need a lot of letter cutting.

I got inspiration from a real building, the 18 rue Carnot, Villeneuve-sur-Yonne. I take a couple of artistic license, specially making the house a corner. 

The first completed figure. 

The heads are a little bit big, but are usable. Nice facial expressions. 

And it's even cooler it's well documented. 

The work of sculpture of the figures is outstanding for injected plastic. 

The base of the project will be the figures from Master Box, and some resin from uncle Ali.
