Yugoslav Yak-3 fighter pilot, spring 1945. I decided to try out painting figures as I had this 1/48 scale pilot from Plusmodels.cz. I painted him first with black primer, then highlited from the topside with white. Thereafter I attempted to do glazing in 5 or so tanalucent layers. Highlights and shadows were made where appropriate. Some of the small details such as buckles were picked out in AK silver pencil. I added pin wash around straps, belt and bags. I want to build more figures and keep practicing. Model 31 for 2022.
