Post-war Spitfire Mk 22
Canopy replaced with a vacformed one...
AAhrgh! Canopy completely fogged by CA glue.. (Other Spit is a Corgi die-cast of Douglas Bader's aircraft)
Not bad for a 1st attempt I thought.
My first attempt at camouflage masking with my new 'proper' airbrush.

Thanks Alex K. Things have certainly changed since I was a kid. Liquid cement, decal softeners, affordable airbrushes etc. not to mention aftermarket decals, resin parts and PE! Lots to learn.

This Griffon-engined Spitfire was the first model I built after buying an airbrush during lockdown in 2020. This followed a modelling break of over 20 years.
The painting went well, but when the canopy masking came off it had fogged due to me attaching it with CA glue. I replaced the canopy with an afermarket vacformed item from Rob Taurus.
