Early cockpit
Have a highlighter when you start the decals. The big sheet has the placement for closed doors, The booklet has the open doors decal identifiers. Quite difficult for a 68-year-old guy like me with bifocals.

Weapons bay doors going on, and the fit on this kit has been excellent. Using toothpicks to snug the rear hinge on the inner doors while the glue dries.
worked on the pilot seat
Main Gear Installed, and quite a few more decals, 2nd coat of AK Satin varnish.
Nose Gear & doors.
A lot of work on the canopy, paint the frame black first then overcoat it with Have Glass, and decals on the inside (7) then glue in the frame.
Closed canopy option.
Completed, took about 25 days, but the New Year holiday made for about 2 or 3 days of no work on it.

Gary NortonDecals on this kit are a challenge, I got most on without issue, the No Step ones are tiny, and then the 1 over 3 I put on and in my color scheme you (Or at least Me) couldn't even see it. A decal for the pilot visor needs a better photo of how to position it. I got it on with quite a bit of Micro Sol #2 but it could be upside down, I tried rotating it a few times but didn't want to destroy it.

Eric ThorntonNice! What paints did you use? Tamiya decals are always thick and a bit of work to get on.

Gary NortonAK Interactive Have Glass Gray (RC245) for the fuselage mimics the Z13 coating, Tamiya paint for the other parts. The AK has a soft matt finish and did not require the Tamiya grey/brown mix.
