Office with Yahu IP and HGW seat belts. Gunze Zinc Chromate C351 paint and Tamyia pin wash used. Some extra stencils from Airscale here and there.

A piece of engine - I added ignition wires. Painted with Gunze Super Iron and washed with Tamiya black wash. The engine from Trumpeter is pretty nice detailed .

Getting ready for painting. A layer of Gunze black primer 1500. Love this stuff, thinned with Levelling Thinner gives smooth, satin surface.

The first attempt of the bottom color of camo. What is suprising the Gunze C338 didn't go well with Levelling Thinner, no matter what thinning ratio but went flawless with Thinner. I am only guessing that perhaps C338 is semi-gloss...No idea...

Chipping - sponge with Vallejo acrylic Golden Olive - close alike Zinc Chromate? Some further weathering should tone down the starking contrast. Anyway this is starting point.

Dark grey pin wash applied. And now playing with oils... Seems a bit overdone but I plan some filters and then some dirt and stains which should tone down the contrasts.

@ Thank you Jim and Gary - I am really glad that you like my approach to weathering. I am happy with that effect too, though when I have finished the job some new ideas came up to my mind... 😉 We'll see, maybe on the next project.
