Sabre vs. Mig
Like a mummy
1st layer of red
2nd layer of red. It covers now the base color
Black lines. Unfortunatelly there isn't decal for the stripes.
Black stripes need some correction.
Ready for more black lines.
Just two more black lines
Masking for more black lines.
Few more steps. Almost redy for the clear varnish before decaling.
Finally both are on their wheels.
The mig has just 6 decals. Not so clear, sadly
Ohh. The 20 years in the attic was not good for the decals. I have to by a new sheet. In this state i will not give up.
Worse than the previous
New decalsheet from Printscale. Very very thin decals.
it fell apart like a puzzle when it was taken off from the
Remains. If anyone need this send me a PM. I will not do another 1:48 scale. Too big.
Almost ready. Just the final coat is missing.
They are ready.
I made it to my colleague Charles for his birthday. I hope he will like it.

The fit on the old Monogram kits can be pretty bad, but they usually look pretty good when finished. 👍

Thanks Paul. The decals are extremly thin. After remove from the paper decals fell apart. I had to rebuild on the right place. It was difficult, but not impossible. I used other products of print scale, there i didn' t experience this problem.
