Suzuki GT380
A mishap: the kit decals lost opacity after shooting the gloss clear from Zero paints. I still don't know why, but anyway, I managed to rectify the problem by printing new decals and applying them on top of computer cut plain white decals. For this, I had to scan a set of decals from a second kit and draw the decals and the cutting files on the computer with the scan as a background. Tedious but it was worth the effort!
This photograph found on the internet inspired me for the color scheme (although it is a slightly older model still equipped with a front drum brake).
This was my full size bike, not a GT380 but a GT550, which I had customized with a Giuliari seat, twin air horns, a racing handlebar and special paint, using amongst others, some leftover metallic blue from my Opel GT repaint, subject of another project and album here on scalemates. I sold the bike in the early eighties. Still regret it...

Built OOB from the excellent Hasegawa kit. Painted with Motip rattle can, Hataka, Vallejo, Zero, Alclad and Molotow paints, and finished with the kit decals. I had a mishap with these decals when I clear coated the fuel tank: the white lost opacity and I had to print and cut new decals to rectify this...
