Looking good Mark. Always thought this tubby but sleek fighter was neat looking. Have to dig my ICM version out one day soon.

Hi John, cheers mate. Yes this has been on my radar for some time. Finally going to get a Soviet WW2 aircraft across the line. Always reminds of those Tex Avery cartoons (Droopy) where the wolf drives up in a long bonnet car.

Haha, yes I remember that one! This will look good in green with more green camo if you go that route.

Hi John. I'm afraid it's just going to be Russian blue under the fuselage, burnt iron a the front of the fuselage, plain green on the rest.

Hi Nikita. Sorry, me being a numpty, what binding? What Lantern? Unless that's the nickname for the MiG 3.

Im sorry for my bad english. There were no metal strips on the front canopy. There was a plexiglass joint, it's transparent. Look at the photo of the restored MiG-3 vulkan-avia.livejournal.com/127948.html

Hi Nikita. No probs mate, I speak the language and I'm incomprehensible at times. Thanks for the head's up regarding the plexiglass insert. Most of my references were from Massimo Tessitori and images gleaned from the net, Wiki etc. Thanks for the link too

Thank you, Mr James. After a glaring mistake (take notice of your reference material Y'Numpty 🙄) and subsequent rectification got the decals bedded down. 🤘🥸🤟

Going nicely I see. I also made mine without the winter camo. This kit was a fun build.
