02 Panzer IV Ausf D - 1st paint practise project

First paint practice after many many years away from the hobby. I basically just wanted to try almost everything to see how I go. Its not perfect, but it is what it is ...

Not great, but a starting point to learn and get better ...

01. Airbrush Primer coat [Vallejo 74.603 Dunkelgrau]+[MrColor Leveling Thinner 400]
02. White airbrush modulation (squiggly) on all panels and open areas [Tamiya XF2]
03. Over spray lighter grey leaving modulation showing thru [vallejo 74.603 Dunkelgrau]+[XF2]+[10% XF18]
04. Paint tracks [XF69 Nato Black]+[XF72] then some metal edges [XF69]+[10% X11]
05. Chipping, not much [Vallejo 74.603 Dunkelgrau]+[some XF2], then some [Vallejo 70.822 German C. Black brown]
06. Seal in arylics with [X35]+[Tamiya Lacquer Thinner]
07. Pin wash oils [AS Lamp Black]+[20% AS Transparent Orange Oxide] and [AS odourless solvent]
08. Weathering streaks [AS white] oil paint and [AS odourless solvent]
09. Dirty up running gear and front & rear undersides - oils [AS Transparent Orange Oxide]
10. Splatters on all lower parts - oils [ [AS Transparent Orange Oxide]+[some AS Australian Grey]+[more AS Aust Grey]
11. Dry brush of all small raised features e.g. bolts, handles, hinges, hatches [basecoat]+[XF2]
12. Exhaust [SMS Dark Orange Rust + AK Light Rust Pigment, then [SMS Red Oxide dabbed on] , then [SMS Light Orange Rust less dabbing]
13. Exhaust and main gun blackening [XF1 inside], then [XF69 Nato Black drybrushing]
14. Exhaust and main gun further blackening [black from Weber Costello - Earth Tones pastels]
