Refinished as C-130A 60518

Refinish a wooden display model of Ecuadoran Air Force (FAE) C-130 to C-130A 60518 which flew the last mission out of Vietnam on April 29, 1975 from Tan Son Nhut Air Base near Saigon. Heroically piloted by Major Phuong RVNAF it carried 452 people, overloaded by 10,000 lbs., to Thailand. On 28 June 1989, it made its final flight to Little Rock Air Force Base and placed on permanent display. It is refinished as the gate guardian at the base. It is to be presented to COL Chace USAF (RET).
