AH-1G Vietnam Minigunner

And so, I decided to step more seriously into the 1/48 scale - still without knowing where I will eventually display completed kits...
This is an expanded version of the initial release of Special Hobby's AH-1G, that includes painting masks, PE details and a healthy amount of resin parts (downscaled directly from their similar 1/32 release) + some rather filigree and impressive 3D printed parts.
This is still not enough - coloured PE fret is a strange creation of "almost complete" copy of Eduard's basic set for this set missing few key pieces... I also added a resin set of the M35 subsystem by CMK as the plastic one - especially in the barrel departament - might have impressed a 14-year-old me, but definitely not a present day me 😉
There will be a small display base with a selected figures added later. First it's time to get a build going.
