The 1972 Chevrolet Corvette was changed very little from the previous years, mostly this was the last year for some major things. '72 was the last year for chrome front bumpers, side bright "egg crate" grills, and the removable rear window. Total 1972 Corvettes Built - 27,004 split between 6508 Convertibles and 20,496 Coupes.
