Cut the rod to the correct length and glue it in.

The Airfix kit complete with 3 broken props, of course

I nearly completed this model 50 years ago, but forgot a few details.

I added some better details to the kit, including some nice markings! Also, the wheels are from a 1:24 Airfix Fw-190.

The lettering should be white but the kit decals are silver. Might have to build another now!

Some new pictures. I added better radio antennas up front.

When you stretch sprue, the end where you heat it has a tapered part, like the top item.

A very old kit in a new box, quite basic and the artwork is much better that the contents! One must sand down the pilot'...

Here is the problem, one blade missing. I built this Revell kit in 1970.

You have to cut the fuselage halfway down and move the cockpit forward to install the rear one. Measure twice-cut once!

Just a basic build, no real weathering or extra details. A bit of pre-shading and mild exhaust streaks.

The airframe almost completed, partly primed. The wings are removable outboard of the landing gear.
