SD Kfz 251/17

This is one of my old models my mother sent me from Texas. I decided to take it apart and repaint and detail it. I am thinking about mounting a Flak on it, but haven't decided yet. It is an old Tamiya kit, and even though the detailing on the kit is not all that, it still builds up pretty good I think. I had two of them that she sent, but from two I could only come up with enough parts to build one, but I still need a few things like lights and MG, or a Flak if I decide to put one on it...

So I decided to build it into a /17 with a 2 cm Flak, which will be the 2 cm Flak from Tristar, which states it is the late version but also seems to have parts for the earlier version as well. This represents a field modified Hanomag, pulled out of North Africa to serve on the East Front. Modified and painted in the field. I made it the Panzer Grenadier Division Grossdeutschland, it would have been after their refit and reorganization in 1943 and there redeployment on the Eastern Front
