No. 711 Catapult Flight H.M.S London

Inspired by a family incident on 30th November 1937 when a Supermarine Walrus, K8345, of No. 711 Catapult Flight from the cruiser H.M.S London, struck a power cable between two wireless masts at RAF Kalafrana, Malta. The two occupants, Fit-Lt. Patrick Arthur Booth R.N. and Leading Aircraftman (590712) Stewart Burns were both killed instantly.
