I have seen a few ppl use paper models as a guide so will be interested to see how this goes. Looks like a great start. Lots of plasticard cutting?

May I ask why you chose this ship?

Nice (larger) scale, interesting project. Why not 1:200 though?

I dont know but this ship captured me from the first moment I saw it. 😅
For the scale I have used the paper model schema in 1:250 and I work with It.

I'm envious of your skills sir. Scratchbuilding is an art that I struggle with. Well done so far.

Many thanks Robert!

I really struggle to cut consistent windows in styrene sheet. I just use a template or drawn lines and cut with knife. But my results are mixed. How do you do it?

What if you tried drilling a hole and filing out the rectangle for the window with a square file?

Sorry for the delay. Yes, I also noticed difficulties. I'm making the mark with the cutter and with the drill I make more or less central holes. Then I try to refine the edges and clean the inside with the cutter. Later I would like to add some PVC planks to recreate the window frame.

OK Alberto. I have not bothered with window frames in my build yet out of laziness, but it would look better. I bought some GodHand spin blades at Telford SMW and I'm wondering if they can be used like a chisel to get better windows.

Your windows look good by the way. So your method is working well.

Interesting Projekt. I've seen this ship a few times, it based just a few 100 meters from where I live. So I'm watching with interest. Good succeed.
