Der Bau dieses M4 diente rein dem Zweck zu üben.
Hauptsächlich dem Umgang mit Farbe. Etwas Alterung, etwas Schmutz ect.
Ich habe für die Zukunft ein paar Projekte im Kopf die ich mit meinen Aktuellen Fähigkeiten eher schlecht als recht meistern werde. Deshalb ist erst mal Modellbau Training angesagt.
Wenn ich mir deine Projekte ansehe dann weiß ich wo ich hin will. Top Dioramen die du da ablieferst.

The construction of this M4 was purely for the purpose of practice, mainly in dealing with paint. Some aging, some dirt, etc.
I have a few projects in mind for the future that I will likely struggle with given my current skills. That's why model building training is on the agenda for now.
When I look at your projects, I know where I want to go. You deliver top-notch dioramas.

I built the M4 purely for practice purposes. The purpose of the build was to rekindle my interest in the hobby, as I haven't built any plastic models for about 20 years, apart from the 'Bucket Wheel Excavator 289' from Revell. I paid little attention to historical accuracy in the process. During the construction, I tried to make use of as many tips and techniques from numerous 'How To's' as possible. Model builders like 'Night Shift', 'Panzermeister36', 'Andy's Hobby Headquarters', 'PLASMO - plastic models', and 'Laser Creation-World', among many others, showcase various techniques on YouTube that I would like to learn in order to build my models as well as I possibly can. So, the M4 was merely a subject of my experiments. However, I can say that building the Sherman as a learning tool served its purpose perfectly. I didn't take any pictures during the construction, but despite that, I would like to showcase the result here.

Ich habe den M4 rein zu Übungszwecken gebaut. Sinn des Builds war wieder ins Hobby reinzufinden, da ich außer dem 'Schaufelradbagger 289 (Bucket Wheel Excavator 289)' von Revell seit ca. 20 Jahren keine Kunststoffmodelle mehr gebaut habe. Auf historische Korrektheit habe ich dabei kaum geachtet. Ich habe beim Bau versucht, möglichst viele Tipps und Techniken aus zahlreichen 'How To's' zu nutzen. Modellbauer wie 'Night Shift', 'Panzermeister36', 'Andy's Hobby Headquarters', 'PLASMO - plastic models' und 'Laser Creation-World' sowie viele andere zeigen auf YouTube zahlreiche Techniken, die ich gerne erlernen möchte, um meine Modelle so gut wie mir möglich ist zu bauen. Der M4 war also nur ein Opfer meiner Experimente. Ich kann aber sagen, dass der Bau des Shermans als Unterrichtsobjekt seinen Zweck voll erfüllt hat. Bilder vom Bau habe ich keine gemacht, aber ich möchte hier trotz allem das Ergebnis vorzeigen.
