Hey, as long as you have fun putting this thing together, it's all good 🙂

I just watched the trailer for the movie Narusitel. It looks like a pretty good film. Do you know if he actually managed to escape in the Zlin?

@Skyhiker, I didnt watch the movie yet but found on the webz that its 'slightly' inacurrate.
But, ... actually one successful attempt in Z226 happened. Here piece of the translated article which is 'tearing apart' the movie's historic accuracy 🙂
For your reading pleasure:
"The story of the main character is most similar to the real story of the world champion in aerial acrobatics Ladislav Bezák, who in 1971 loaded his wife and four small children into his Zlín Z 226T plane and flew across the border. He was chased by a MiG-15 from the air defense from Pilsen-Líně Airport.
However, the acrobatic pilot used all his skill and the weather to "lose" the fighter and successfully landed near Nuremberg. But it happened 16 years earlier than the director said in the interview, and it was a successful flight with the whole family, meaning no arrests or imprisonment. Even the director's words that the pilot involved in the flight wished to remain anonymous do not correspond to this. Bezak's bold piece is famous and well known."

welcome Jennifer!
btw that Fw190 isnt that big, actally they are almost the same size with Z226. would be interesting to have Bf109 for comparison, but I lost that kit somewhere.
