As warm up I thinned the fuselage in the area of the engine (openings).

The kit offers two etched parts but unfortunate the grid is not fine enough. I’m not sure which of the several options I will choose.

You can clearly see that the engine is well visible through the mesh.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/1/3/1/1620131-14143-73-720.jpg)
Kit part for the controlstick and collective pitch stick are too thick so I scratched them new.

Several pieces of 0,8 x 0,3 mm plastic strips as filler for the step between clear part and fuselage.

Approximately 1 hour later: CA is hardened and seam sanded smooth.

It seemed to me hardly possible or impossible to install the engine framing corresponding to the construction sheet. Therefore I decided to make it completely new from rod.
![Album image #28 Album image #28](/albums/img/0/7/8/1630078-14143-61-720.jpg)
The remaining V-shaped strut I will install after installation of the engine.

It was the correct decision to use narrow yellow decal stripes instead of airbrushing. 🙂

Very last piece of both exhaust stacks will be installed from outside.
![Album image #38 Album image #38](/albums/img/3/2/3/1635323-14143-15-720.jpg)
The shaft to the tail rotor is well visible.
![Album image #39 Album image #39](/albums/img/7/9/9/1635799-14143-89-720.jpg)
It was easier to bend the bow from wire than clean the plastic part.
![Album image #40 Album image #40](/albums/img/8/0/0/1635800-14143-27-720.jpg)
Both fuel tanks in place.

Skid and several wires and cables installed.

![Album image #43 Album image #43](/albums/img/9/9/9/1637999-14143-66-720.jpg)
Unfortunately the parts for the main rotor are molded with a lot of flash. So I decided to use only few parts and make the missing rest from scratch.

Welcome Juergen and Michael: two places in the first row…🙂.
The result of a mini modeling task: I decided to use the very fine and flexible cooper mesh and installed the piece on the right side.

Fascinating!
Yes, in certain areas it almost looks like a complete scratch build. But is it really a complete build without a kit?

Thank you Mates for the great feedback. 🙂
Today at noon I have airbrushed dark green. I have mixed three different green tones of Humbrol together, one of them was an „Authentique", at least 30 years old!! 4 hours later, the coat is „bone dry". The appearance and shine are excellent, as I wanted them to be. No dust inclusions. There is nothing better than the old Humbrol paints!!🙂

As usual, the amount of superdetailing leaves me speechless, enginemount and superclean clearpart-assembly plus exact riveting - top notch ! 👍
