Since I'm on buying restriction, I pulled this F4 from my stash. I've always liked the F4 since I was a kid. I wanted to do an F4 C or D but they seem to be harder to find.
This build is out of the box and the engineering of the kit was amazing. It took longer to complete because I got caught up on how to paint the exhaust area. After driving myself crazy with YouTube videos I took the Bob Ross approach and went with the it's my little tree mindset.
The tail is painted using DN Model masks. I destroyed the tail decal and had to strip it down and redo it. I love using these masks and recommend them. I have a hard time using the Tamiya decals because they are thick and I don't use Tamiya paints for the airframe.
I had a lot of fun buding this kit.
