1/72 Spad XIII Progress
Attempting bracing wires as on the Spad they are pretty straight forward..fingers crossed

Some good progress today, with the upper wing camo painted and decals on..upper wing just needs matt clear to seal the decals and take the shine away. Main body underside now in colour

Top wing in place, but has to bow slightly to connect properly, so still taped for now

Michael SchubertAll masking done for main body and lower wing, just a couple of touchups needed and some detail painting, then clear coat, decals, and then flat clear to finish and add the top wing..starting to come together.

Michael SchubertTouchups done, decals on, now the waiting game for it to fully cure to seal it all with Matt clear and mount the top wing..getting close to complete now

Michael SchubertCompleted, but now waiting on glue to dry for final pics.
There needs to be a slight bow in the top wing to connect properly, so it won't just sit in place while drying..hence the tape.

Pretty happy with the result, still learning to airbrush after decades of either spray paint cans, or brush work. First real attempt at proper camouflage and rigging a 1/72nd scale, so a few things I'm happy turned into ok haha 👍
