Thank you for your interest 🙂 By coincidence while receiving your comments I've just restarted working on it and currently doing a panelling effect. More pictures are coming soon.

Here is the final view of NMF.
Following is a protective layer of Alclad aqua gloss clear coat, hoping it won't ruin the NMF look. I'll rather paint the wings yellow leading edge than using the kit decal.

I'll join the other mates and compliment you on your paint job. I hope you'll be able to keep that sheen until the end.

This is very beautiful! I will have to learn how to do a panel effect very quickly. 🙂

Love the look, what did you use for the panel variations and did you have any masking problems with the AK finish?

Thank you all mates! Your comments make me proud of my work 🙂
@ Pz_MelOtt, nothing special, just a regular Tamiya masking tape + mixes of AK metallics. The panel effect was later softened by a bit of free hand spraying. Hadn't issues at all with the metal finish. Perhaps the base matters, on another build of mine I did have masking residues even on a non-glossy aluminium, on the same AK extreme. The base however was slightly polished Mr. surfacer 1500 while for the Tempest I've used Tamiya LP.

Thanks Tony. I'm planning building a B-58 Hustler and trying to gather all the metal finish knowledge I can get.

Thank you for all your likes and praised comments, mates!
Definitely in future I will have to plan more projects of NMF planes which I've always been afraid of till now.

Missed this one, very nice and shiny 👍
Once you find the paints that suit you, the NMF becomes easy and very rewarding
