Watching! Could you give some information how you made the decals? Printer, paper, workflow? Thank you!

I scanned the flat parts like wings, elevators and tail rudders and combined them with blueprints from the internet. I used this as a base and then, in Adobe Illustrator, drew the camouflage areas. On the curved parts, like the bow, I first attached pieces of masking paper and marked the contours with a pencil. I then peeled off the masking paper and attached it to a flat piece of cardboard which I then scanned. I used that as a base to draw the corresponding camouflage areas in Illustrator. Finally, I printed all the camouflage areas on blank decal paper with a laser printer. I used the clear one. As the base color of the fuselage is not white but light gray and I used clear decal paper, I colored the camouflage areas in a slightly lighter tone than the real one, taking into account that it would darken slightly with the light gray background. I hope it helps, DerMattes.

I used the decal paper, the decal fixer and decal softener from Greenstuff World. It doesn't need a varnish coat after printing.

After a break, the project is finished. I am very happy with how the camouflage turned out using the homemade decals. The cockpit left huge gaps with the fuselage in the hinge area, so I have chosen to place it in the open position (even though the cockpit is quite sparse).

I had an Italeri Mig-29 A in my stash but I really like the paint scheme of the SMT variant. Since I don't use an airbrush and camouflages of various colors are practically anathema to me, I decided to represent it with homemade decals.
