Honestly, this was one of the first Arma Hobby kits and I am amazed at the design and the quality of the parts, I just have one question - on the Arma Hobby instruction sheet, it doesn't say which colour to use for the Hawker engine exhaust pipes, does anyone know - I tend to use Tamiya paints as that is what I have majority of. Can someone tell me? Love the finished product btw!

Thank you Jennifer an Chris.
I´ve got my own technic to paint the engine exhaust pipe. I start with a base with aluminium color. Than I use browm x10 from Tamiya and than Tamiya black. both in thin layers. Highlights in yellow ochre.

Yeah that is what I was thinking because when I did the ME 109 1/48 scale I was told to use XF-3 and XF-6 which gave me a really nice gloss looking exhaust colour so I thought it would be something close but yeah I will do just that, honestly I am so glad to be a part of the Scalemates community and I hope to share with you some of my pieces that I have done. Can I also say I am not here to give out expert opinions, I am a novice/beginner but I love what I do because every model I make, reminds me of my Father, he was the one who brought the magic back into my life, sorry for being personnal.
