Thank you, but on the other hand, in photos 10 and 11 you can see that I gave too much paint and some disappeared. I had to correct 🙂

Can I ask how you do this pre-shading or is it a trade secret 😉 ? From your other work I know that you are very skilled with an airbrush (eg the cammo scheme of your Arado 555 project). You could paint a model in black and white and it wouldl stilll look great. 😀 Hmmmm....maybe this is an idea for a future project 🤔

It's no secret 🙂 This shading is the old black&white technique. First the model is painted with black primer and then with white paint I try to paint the tonal transitions and also the streaks and splatters. This way we have a ready modulation of the base color. Provided that we manage not to paint over what we have done 🙂 I paint the base color very diluted (even 1/10) and after each layer I check whether it is enough or one more 🙂
