Great job! I binned this kit about halfway through building it back in the 1980s because it was such a dog. After this one, I refused to buy any more ESCI kits (but of course I did anyway).

This one is not for the fainthearted !
It is the Heller boxing of the old ESCI kit in the Patrouille de France release.
The kit is a real dog to be honest, gaps and fit problems everywhere, ridges for raised panel lines and a cockpit without any detail whatsoever.
I started by virtually constructing the complete kit before sanding off all the panel lines, filling all the gaps (some were humongous) and sanding again before re-scribing the whole kit.
The cockpit was constructed from the inside out with the fuselage glued shut and sanded.
Two resin seats were added with a PJ Productions pilot, all the rest was made up from plastic card and Milliput.
I did cut out some small bits of plastic from the forward fuselage and replaced them with clear plastic. these are the rescue windows to release the canopy and are too large to be depicted with a decal I feel.
The wings are far too thick which is unfixable (for me anyway) so I dropped the flaps to at least hide viewed from behind.
