Saab JA-37 Viggen

The Heller mould is quite an old one, and has been developed to reflect the JA-37. I found the fuselage halves to be a little twisted on mine 

But got there in the end 

Belts added as usual 

The instructions didn't call for any weight in the nose, but after experience with the Do335 I wasn't taking any chances and added a little. Either way, it worked 

Wing fit / nose fit was not very good; this was the first run 

Painted 

Finished. Not my best camera work, though 

Not sure which of the Viggen colour schemes I prefer; the original natural metal, the incredibly complex camo, or the low-visibility 

 

 

 

 

It's such a big beastie as well
