Had some problems with the saw as I recall. Saws must be important. Reference pics show allot of logs fastened to the sides of Soviet AFV’s. What’s up with that?

Basic 4BO green modulation, no big deal

Wish they'd have provided a headlight lens. I bet Frank K. could have built one! Hell, he'd have put the filament in it!

Tried a new product, Vallejo 73214 chipping stuff. Worked okay, didn't matter much a WW is going over this coat

Vallejo Model Air White, I thought about going with Tamiya XF-2 but that would have led me to no good.

WW with salt......didn't care for it. Probably my fault.

Pigments, PE, some oils.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/4/8/8/63488-11223-27-720.jpg)
Mapping, filters, chipping, pigments, oils...but no blood, sweat or tears
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/4/8/9/63489-11223-67-720.jpg)
On the bench, relatively clean.

A very nice stencil came with the PE set; love it!

In the computer game I play, the SU 122's duty is to take out anti tank guns.

Well Frank, my method for the past year has been to build an AFV then before the next AFV is begun, work on an ongoing, relatively complex diorama.
I?ve deviated from this slightly because I got lucky and got this great, out of production PE set for a Tamiya 75mm ATG. So, rather than set the SU 122 in a diorama, I quickly moved on the ATG build.
This has been placed in a simple diorama [img1]. Once this is done, I will do a bit of work on the complex project. Then, a build I?ve really been looking forward to: Nashorn!
Tutorial on white wash? I?m flattered William! I?m trying to emulate non other than Mig Jimenez?s T34/76 as it appears in Modelling the T-34/76 by Osprey Books. Check his out there!! There?s a brown filter that I really like, SIN #2208 for the WW.

Thanks roland and holger, actually it looks better than the pictures depict. I'm an idiot with a camera (among other things).

Thanks guys! I'm building a Nashorn right now and just to bracket my shots so to speak; I'm backing way off on the weathering.

Hello Holger, why yes it is. Dragon 6314. The build is coming along nicely and I do believe that I have figured out how to neuter the Magic Tracks animal!

oh yeah, as soon as I make a bit more progress! I'm on the fighting compartment now, the tracks have been mounted, the gun is done. So, I'm in the home stretch.

This weathering looks so convincing it's really next to perfect. Very well done.
