Hi Sebastijan, you should clean the parts intensive before you add any detail or paint because of a greasy surface to to some stuff they propably use for their molds. Check this out, it is German but may you can read or translate it. modellmarine.de/inde..atid=139🤔ven
I ruined my scale 1/350 because no paint would stuck on the surface of my model. Cheers, Christian

Hey Sebastijan, if you have any questions about building Orange Hobby models just contact me. I build the visby mentioned in the link from Christian.

Thank you for your help guys. Truth is, I already primed the model before I posted this photos... And guess what - the primer flaked off 😄 I even cleaned the whole models prior with the nitro thinner, which should remove ANYTHING but to no avail. I have however now sprayed both models with ModelMaster enamel paint and it sticks to the surface without any problem. I guess the problem was in Alclad's grey primer, as it is lacquer based.

Will keep you posted... Maybe the enamels will fail me as well, but at least they didn't flake off like Alclad's primer did... I will paint them later tonight and will see after unmasking...

Nice job so far Sebastijan. Interesting ships, I took some photos of a Visby in Plymouth in 2011.
