Hi Augie! Nice start!
I always wonder how modelers paint those white buttons and instruments. How did you do that, Augie? 🙂

That is really impressive work on the panels!! Amazing how you can do that kind of detail at such small scale 👍
I actually also asked the exact same question a little while back on how airplane modelers paint those tiny dials 😄 and the pencil thing is quite ingenious, Augie! I'd had never come up with that one on my own 😉 Thanks for the tip! I am definitely going to be using that for painting/colorizing the instrument panels in the 1/35th scale vehicles I build 👍

Panels look Awesome Augie. I never thought of the colored pencil I will have to try that. Do you seal it with a clear coat?

👍 very good, Augie. I never ever managed it, to paint white with a brush acceptable. Without a Airbrush I am really helpless... 🙂

Ah...Raspberry Ripple - one of my favourite flavours! I have the Fujimi 1:72 kit lurking around somewhere. You gotta love the marking scheme. Does the Hasegawa kit have the modification under the radome?

Hi Augie! hum… i think you like Phantoms a bit!!! 😄
The interior is very good, great job on it! And as paint white with a brush… well sometimes its hard with an airbrush so with a brush is impossible for me to do it!
Looking for to see more.
Hey i use that brush too (i buy them on the Chinese store for 0,90 cents i can get a pack of 3 or 4 i think 😄 😄 😄

Augie I hope you get to keep your white paint staying white! I always found that the humbrol gloss white goes "cream" after a while... The satin white they do seems to stay white better than the gloss! I always prefer to airbrush white (if it's this much to do) Testors used to make a very good "classic white" in a spray can that would be a much eaiser job than by hand. May the force be with you on this one! 😮

I was told by a very good modeler to add a very tiny dab of sky ble to keep white white. in color theory this makes sense. I have not had an occassion to put it into practice. Has anyone tried that procedure?
