Nice bare metal finish. What colours did you use? Very convincing weathering, also.

It sure looks great mate! Perfect dull look n' weatherin'. The one thing that stands out is the open canopy for a museum bird, but then the canopy should be milky n' dusty as well but who want's to do that to a nice lookin' model? I really like the base plate as well.

Thanks for the nice comments mates
@Urban, you are right when you say that a museum bird his canopy is closed, the only reason why I left mine open is that the fit of the canopy is not that great 😉

@Jörg, I used the colors Steel 71.065 and Aluminium 71.062 from Vallejo, I'm sadisfited about the results of these colors, I sealed it with Vallejo clear Matt

Have you brushed or airbrushed the airframe? I really like the look of it n' is always lookin' for aditional aluminium paints to use.

Thanks Stefan and Es-Haq for looking at the pictures and nice comment.
@Urban, I airbrushed the aluminium paints, these paints from vallejo are great and have a nice looking result on the airframe, the positive note from these paints are that you can immediately used the products from AK

Very ambitious work, Phillip.
A Mystere on static display and additional with a heavy weathering is what I like! The dull metal finish is "absolutely" correct and perfect for weathered static planes! Looks as it have to looks like!! A glossy or shiny metal finish would be absolutely irrational and wrong in such a scenery! Well done....
She's remembering me a lot of "Michel Tanguy et Ernest Laverdure" from the very first issues!
I still hope this nice model will be a future subject of one of the actual brands in quarter scale.
Well done Phillip!
Only one thing I would do supplementary like Urban said.
1)A close canopy and 2) additional blind or semy blind plexiglas. But this is only my personal opinion!
🙂

@Dirk, Thanks for the Congrats Dirk, I know the cockpits always be closed for static demos, but the problem is that the canopy is far too short by that I have this cut open, I can try to extend this but I have fear that I'm going to do more bad than good and that my model failed, so I opted for this solution, may not be the correct but maybe still the best 😉

Excellent, perfectly weathered for a NMF airplane that spent some years in open storage 👍👍👍

Album info
This is my last project, it's the Super Mystere from AZ on scale 1/72, the paint that I used is from Vallejo and I used AK products for the weathering.
