How cool is that?!? I built one of the original kits back in the day, when I was MUCH younger, and always regretted not keeping it. As I recall, I cut what seemed like 20,000 acres of neighbor's yards for this one...
Very, very nice.

Thanks, Charles.....I see one for sale local, looks mint but I can't justify spending $100.00 on a kit right now.... 🙁
Album info
I found this poor old girl on Ebay for $10.00! It was built and in very rough shape. Looks like the original issue and by the looks of the glue it was probably built just after the original release.
I stripped it down, repaired, repainted and decaled....was a lot of work...but a lot of fun, too!
Alas, like a lot of my other projects, it got demoted to yard sale fodder after my wife and I separated...all I have left is pictures...
The decals came from a company called Space Model Systems (no longer around??) and were developed by a guy named Rick Sternbach.....name sound familiar? Star Trek fans will recognize it....he was art director for 14 years...helped design tricorders, phasers, starships, etc. for The Next Generation, DS9 and Voyager!
