Mustang from Sophia
Sophia brush painting using the kit´s paint after I did for her some masking
She was 5 at that time
I glued the model together with no filler or much care after she had hand painted the silver fuselage and wings on the sprue
small hands perfect for small scale 🙂
I will help her with the decals
among other projects at that time, I don´t have this vitrine anymore
She was doing some pannel line pin wash with tamiya
she painted the pilot in yelow... (^_^)
look at that face ^_^
It was built 3 years ago by my dougther (with a little help)
I took my time to frame it a little better, nice the yelow pilot with red helmet 🙂
It was all brush painted by my doughter in the sprues and glued afterwards with no filler...
the kit is old mold, inaccurate and horrible, so I was going to scrap it, when Sophia came and asked me something for her to paint...
When I saw the bush paint that she did (just the revell silver that came in the set with the set brushes) I knew I had to put it together.

I wish one of my girls would ever even come close to consideration of something like this. Great result ! Natural talent ?

kkk, thanks guys, this model was bought for 3 euros and it came with brush, glue and paintings, but I regred when I opened and saw all the rised rivets, no detail, wrong shape everywere, than when my daughter was asking me to do something, I gave her the sprues and the paint, she brush painted the silver on the sprues itself so well that I did a quick assembly of the model, without putty or anything, just tamiya cement, than I masked with tape the panels to be in diferent colors and gave back to her to finish the brush painting. In the end, I helped her with the decals, by fine tuning the place of them after she´d applied them, to finish she made the pin-wash in the moving surfaces and I gave one coat of future in the overall to seal, she didn´t want the model to have a mat coat, she wanted the plane to be shinny! I will post pics of the finished model soon.

Hello Cesar, your daughter done a good work. Please told her that. I would be glad, my children have this interest. My girl like my kits, but won´t build them and my son like them too, tried some painting on 2 30mm figures, but gave them than to me and said "Papi, please paint you that.".

This model is a waste of time. I'm glad you turned it into a wonderful father-daughter experience. 👍

Album info
one old mold very cheap model that probably I would never build it, so I quick assembled that to let my doughter have some fun with paints and brushes 🙂
