It's engine deck from a dragon jagdtiget. It's white because I removed the 4 layers of paimt with revell color mix. Literally I washed it off.

Hope you can resolve that, and meanwhile keep on with the good work in the model.

Gábor, the surface texture on the turret (photo 14) is beautiful! And dead-on, I might add 👍

Thanks John. A bit of tamiya cement and a rolling bamboo stick can go a long way. 🙂

Haha! Yeah, I guessed the Tamiya Thin but did not account for a little bamboo stick (a toothpick, probably?) 😄 great technique!! Wonderful! 👍

Thanks gents.
Toothpick could be fine but i would vote for bamboo because of the 'lined' surface. I dont know if its understandable🙂 just have a look at a wood and a bamboo toothpick and you will se what im talking about. 😄

The tracks are barely not touching the hull. It was one of my biggest fears. Now the bits and pieces left. And the sideskirt which isnt turned out exactly the way I planned.

Another of my mash ups.
The idea is that Hitler liked the design but didn't like the electric drive so he ordered Henschel to us the design but make it a full petrol drive.
The engine deck the turret and the running gear will be changed (the running gear minght not be). Thinking to use a 10.5cm intead of the 88mm.
