Your builds are fantastic, man..i'll follow this too! What about the Uragan, did the chassis collapse yet? 😄

Thank you Alexander.
Bart most likely it will be SA-6 and SA-4 on one base. At first plan was to put Shilka and SA-6 but Shilka became part of another project.

I made them. All of them 😉 Starting from road panels, through perforated ones (Yomb), fence (panels and poles), to pavement plates and kerbstone.

Almost finished. Some painting job (details) have to be done on Kub missiles, pigments on exhaust etc.

These are really nice and I love the base you built, it looks so realistic. I built the Kub a while ago and it was a really enjoyable kit to build, the real stick is a 1000 times better than what is offered in the kit.👍👍👍

Thank you Michael. I'm not 100% satisfied but overall happy with result. The major concern for me is a layout of base and surface of Krug vehicle. it became harsh and rough on some stage and I was worried that sanding will destroy it, so I left it as it is.

I know when I built my Kub I found out the missiles were to thin and the length wasn't right as well. I knew I wouldn't be happy if I didn't fix the issue, but the resin missiles were more than I paid for the kit, just $10US from Lucky Models. So I cut the fins & detail of nad made new missiles. I like what you have created. click here and you can see what I did

Great build Micheal - I really like your base and the magic you did with missiles. Looks awesome.

Thanks Przemek, I had a lot of fun doing that base. It was the first time I used cork and clay, but I don't think I will use these for building a base again as it's heavy and the clay kept cracking. Next time I will use what I usually build with and that is sheet foam and pre mixed plaster for fixing cracks in walls.

Michael - as for the clay, I used it once and it kept cracking as you said but in my case it gave quite interesting effect. Take a look at this album:

The clay has worked out perfectly for the ground of your Apache dio.👍 I tried to get away with it by having the clay look like cracked rock.

Thank you Timothy.
Micheal - effect was unintentional and at the beginning I was quite mad but later I realized that it gave nice look of dry ground. 😉
